CHEMINS DE COMPOSTELLE : UN PATRIMOINE RÉVÉLÉ

Since the discovery of the tomb of the apostle Saint James in the 9th century in Spain, several hundred thousand pilgrims have travelled the Routes of Compostela every year.
This impressive network of 3,000 kilometers is punctuated by 71 unique megastructures: churches, such as the surprising Saint-Michel d’Aiguilhe, perched on its rocky peak at more than 82 meters high, extraordinary cathedrals, such as Notre-Dame-de-l’Annonciation in Le Puy and its 17 meters suspended over the void, but also more unusual structures such as the Valentré Bridge in Cahors or the incredible Canfranc train station with its extraordinary dimensions. All these buildings today bear witness to the evolution of architecture and the construction methods of the building geniuses over the centuries.
Thanks to this original documentary, discover these fascinating monuments and travel to the heart of more than a thousand years of technology and heritage.
