The butterfly effect

Selma is the manager of a prestigious luxury hotel. She has convinced herself that her success depends on the denial of her cultural and social origins. She has Westernised her name, invented a fictional past, and lives a cleverly maintained lie. Her colleagues and even her lovers know only one facade of the true Salima: Selma, who is supposed to be of Italian origin. But the arrival of her family at her workplace will soon crack the varnish of appearances. It is a first step towards her reconciliation with herself.
